Just like what happens in the versions for Windows and Mac, you can buy as many cards as you want (like in real life). It won't take you long to start making your own decks, though. Of course, in the beginning, you'll play with set decks of cards, specially designed to make the learning process go smoothly.
But just in case, the game offers an extensive tutorial that will teach you the basics in about a half hour.
